O most holy Theotokos and Mother of our God, you appeared in an age of wars and revolutions to warn of worse calamities should mankind not repent of its evils and turn back to the way of truth. But if our fallen race were to be humbled and return to its Maker, you announced a heavenly blessing: the conversion of the Russian people to Catholic unity and world peace. Teach us thy servants, O blessed Virgin Mary, to abase ourselves before God the Father and beseech His mercy for the wickedness and errors of all mankind. May we strive through the grace of the Holy Spirit to emulate thy perfect virtues and to conform ourselves to thy surpassing holiness, O all-immaculate One. And pray for us to Christ thy Son and our God, that He may have mercy on us sinners and save our souls!

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

O ever-blessed Virgin, purest of all creation, you are the model of every virtue. Inspire us by example to imitate thy supreme humility, that we know ourselves as we really are. And enlightened of our true state before God and man, may we repent and beg mercy for our transgressions and embrace our brothers in the one, holy, Catholic, apostolic and Orthodox faith. By thy ceaseless intercessions for sinful mankind at the heavenly throne of the Most Holy Trinity, shower on us who seek the path of reconciliation the peace which only comes from on high, so that we live in harmony and concord, the wars of Russia and the nations may cease, and the schisms of Russia and the holy churches of God may be healed. For thy greatly exalted name is praised and glorified unto all ages, O Theotokos!
