DJ (Daniel) Shulick has a passion for learning, discussing, and writing about ancient Christian (Catholic and Orthodox) subjects, playing and composing secular and sacred music in classical styles, and enjoying God’s creation. He completed his BA in Philosophy and Theology from Holy Apostles College in September 2021. Upon graduation, Daniel was unsure of where to take his life next until a providential event took place. Around this same time, he found out he is canonically Ruthenian Greek (Byzantine) Catholic from his family heritage. He was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and also spent some time in the Traditional Latin Mass movement before he reconnected with his Eastern roots. Daniel is currently immersing himself in the theory and practice of Byzantine Christianity in all its richness as he seeks to discern and realize his vocation.
